The Harp
Legends tell of a magical harp that was imbued of the spirits of an ancient people. It was sung into the universe in a time when thoughts could come into being by simply willing them to be. A time before perversion, wickedness, and sin became commonplace among men. A time before there was good and evil, a time before separation of tribes. A time before you, and a time before me.
So beautiful was this harp of copper, silver, and gold. The exquisite instrument glistened with a greenish tint in the brilliant light of day, and radiated with a somber glow in the depths of the darkness in order to keep evil at bay. It was sung into being
The Mouse and the Mole
Once upon a time there was a mouse, a small youngling with patched grey fur and long yellow teeth. He was scurrying about in a dense thicket of trees searching for food, when he stumbled upon a dark cave.
“Perhaps,” he thought, as his stomach rumbled, “I will find some food in in this cave.” So mouse dashed into the cave, his ever growing appetite not to far behind. However as the mouse rushed deeper into the caverns it suddenly became very dark. Mouse stopped to look around, but saw that he could no longer see the light of the exit and suddenly he became very anxious. Then at once he heard a

Tired of pleasant smells pervading your paradise? Looking for a change of scent? Need to give a hint to that neighborhood hobo that your garbage can is not the place to go looking for Christmas Dinner? Look no further than the latest invention, the scintillating sensation that’s stinking up the nation, Air Rottener!
Air Rottener comes in three delightfully foul smells. Rancid Compost, the spoiled scent of rotten eggs and maggoty garbage aged exactly three weeks in the melting summer sun, Seaside Pollution, the sour smell of oil at sea, and Noxious Nightmare, the corpulent aura of corroding corpses.

I Woke Up
By: Missy D.
I woke up in foreign flesh
With squalid stature
and memories fresh
My army lost to the frailty of light
Their ending pure
But meaning trite
Our Souls were ravaged beyond despair
All were slaughtered
No one spared
Yet I awoke in foreign flesh
With squalid stature
and memories fresh
Powers drained and in despair
In resolve
I made a prayer
My revenge I would exact
Their pitiful hearts I would extract
My army screaming songs of dread
Soon they will all be dead...
King of the Anthill

A dismal white light flickered on and off in a grungy basement. Moldy rotten chunks of cheese, pizza, and other snack foods littered a soiled carpet, which originally yellow, had grown to a putrid green. Countless two liters of soda lay half-empty or tipped over creating the effect of a rotted swamp. A thick stale aroma of sweat hung in the air so strong that little wisps of stink swirled around the globular form of Eugene Haroldson.
Eugene sat blinded by the bright white light of a screen. He furiously swiped, typed, and hacked, his fingers making a melody of click, click, clack on his sticky crumb litter

The Customer is Always Wrong

Despite being a five star restaurant when I arrived at the famous French restaurant Le Meilleur Cuisinier, there was not a customer in sight. I pondered if they were closed, so I cautiously opened the gold handled double doors as I entered the restaurant.
“Hello?” I whispered through the doorway. I walked inside, carefully closing the door behind me. The interior was gorgeous. In the lobby there was a solid gold fountain with sparkling water streaming through the top.
I walked around to the other side of the fountain and I saw a single podium between two large tapestries. The tapestr
Third Eye Tattoo

Thirteen men donning long obsidian robes marched in the thrall of darkness. They stood one behind the other, and marched through the woods in perfect unison. In their left hand they each held a tall wax candle, which glimmered faintly in the night, and in their right they each held a leather bound book.
Behind them secretly followed a young ragged boy, Curiouso. Curiouso was not of great intelligence, nor was he naïve to the way of the world. He was not unique in his lifestyle, nor was his family particularly outgoing. He was nothing short than the facade of a commoner. At the budding age of twelve Curious

The Underworld wasn’t a place any person would want to go. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your religion is, the Underworld was a place you wanted to avoid with all your might.
If you did end up there, it wouldn’t be what you expected. Contrary to popular belief, the Underworld wasn’t filled with fire and screaming and torture and all the other horrible things that it’s often associated with. One would be even more surprised to know that the dead didn’t even roam here. The only ones that roam here are the warriors Lucifer had chosen and trained. The warriors all had something in

Rapunzel was very nervous. Today was the day she’d take a life changing step. Today, she was going to take to oath of the Guardians.
She’d been with the Guardians for more than a century; how long exactly she didn’t know since she stopped counting after 120 years but only now did she join. That’s because the Man in the Moon had finally chosen her to be a Guardian.
Rapunzel was now standing in the meeting room, sometimes called the Globe room because of the large globe situated in the middle of the room, each countless lights displaying a child that believed.
Behind her stood the Guardians of Childhood, w

AN: Ok this'll probably be the only author's note I'll do up here. I just forgot to mention last chapter that Rapunzel doesn't have magic hair (for plot reasons) and is about waist length and that North looks slightly younger than in the movie (again, for plot reasons) and that Hiccup looks like the Hiccup from HTTYD 2. That's all for now. Enjoy!
Chapter #2
A week had passed since Rapunzel made the deal with her friend but still she had done nothing. She did, however, come up with a few ideas on how to do it but each idea she abandoned, claiming they were not right and stupid. It also didn’t help that Jack was hardly at the Pole.
